Panerai British Classic Week 2015 started in Cowes over the weekend with racing taking place all week and building up to a memorable Parade of Sail on Saturday 25 July past the Royal Yacht Squadron clubhouse.

Seventy eight yachts have registered for the racing with a race taking place every day. The yachts have been divided into six classes.

On Sunday class O, large classics, with three entrants was won by Mariquita,a 29 metre gaff cutter and built in 1911 by William Fife & Sons.

 

Soufriere, a 16.5 metre Dublin based modern classic won the Class 1 race on Sunday.

Cetewayo, a 48ft fractional rigged Laurent Giles sloop built in 1955 by Morris and Lorimar won the class 2 fleet of twelve.
