Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland Race 2018

This exciting and demanding race starts from the Royal Yacht Squadron’s line at noon on Sunday 12th August.

The 1,805nm course will take competitors around some of the busiest and most tactically challenging sailing waters in the world

After leaving Cowes, Isle of Wight the fleet of some 29 entries will sail out of the Solent, past Cornwall’s Lands’ End and out to the west of Ireland before heading north to round Scotland.

Next it will be down the North Sea to Dover Strait and its busy shipping lanes.

After passing Brighton the crews will strain for first glimpses of the Isle of Wight and home once more.
