The finish on Wednesday night/Thursday morning was a fabulous finale to a dramatic race.
Yannick Bestaven, 48 year old French national was declared the winner after receiving a time allowance for turning back to rescue a stricken fellow competitor earlier in the race, crossed the finish line 3rd at 3.19 am on Thursday morning (28/1/21).
Charlie Dalin, who had been in the lead claimed line honours arriving at Les Stables d’Olonne, Western France at 19.35 on Wednesday evening.
Third was Louis Burton on Bureau Vallee 2 in at 23.45, just before midnight.
