Jeanneau’s Sun Odyssey 379
Our team visited a Jeanneau 379 courtesy of Brighton Marina’s Black Rock Yachting.
As the weather was inclement we were unable to take her for a sail, however we enjoyed a good look around on deck and below.
The navigation systems were a sensible combination of a chart plotter placed on deck behind the cockpit drinks table clearly visible from both helm positions.
Below, the chart table was sufficient for traditional chart work with an array of switches and instruments above. It was cleverly placed on the port side of the main saloon giving sufficient working room but without taking up too much space.
The engine compartment is located under the companion steps which lifts with the help of an assisted hinge giving good access to it underneath.
At £113,000 on the water she was keenly priced offering a holiday home afloat, sailing yacht and an investment which should hold its value as well as providing a lot of enjoyment.
