On Sunday 20th October the wind blew and waves crashed upon the beach. Rough enough to keep everyone onshore you would think?
In years gone by racing yachts would have set out from the marina, but these days they have a reputation of aging and being seen as stuffy.
However all is not lost as the next generation of extreme water sports enthusiasts find other ways of getting afloat.
Some hardy jet bikers braved the seas off Brighton’s Palace Pier having fun and keeping the crowds of onlookers amused.
Some, seeking shelter from the pier were getting close…..
Some jet bikes are able to take two…..
Some even wore fancy dress! Below our intrepid biker has spouted horns, perhaps she is Batwoman?
